The A to Z Global Marketing Salt Water Powered Energy Cell by Walt Barrett

I had to make a video this morning from rather poor quality cell phone videos because that's all I had to work with.  With the edition of the added voice over I believe the video will suffice for now.  The video is a short announcement about our Power Energy Cell that we have been researching and working on now for quite some time.   The Cell runs on salt water, Urine, Battery Chem, and several other inexpensive chemical formulas.  Certain fuels produce more power than others.  We are ready to patent and go into mass production but will require additional funds  as the patents alone for international protection are very expensive.  It won't be that long before you will be driving a scooter or electric car powered by this product.  It is really a system of making electricity and storing it in a battery.  The Power cell was developed by Mike Winchell and Walt Barrett.

Micro Home Precut Frame Kits, Elevations and Floor Plans from Walt Barrett

Please click on the images to enlarge

This micro home has 4 feet of head room in the sleeping loft and there is room for two people to easily sleep there. You can easily sit in a chair in the loft. The entrance hatch is large enough to allow small bureau's etc. to fit through it for clothing storage and small personal items. Kits are available with full ceiling height second floors. We will consider any design suggested.

A to Z Global Marketing Inc. Is now offering shipments world wide for its pre-engineered, precut micro home framing kits. Custom sizes are also offered. We are currently designing an 8' x 12 ' unit for a project for the homeless. Kits will be coded for ease of assembly. Precut kits are the best because they save scrap loss, and also because all of the saw cuts including all of the difficult angle cuts have been made. The smaller home kits can be shipped on a single pallet. Micro homes, and micro apartments are a very large part of the answer to providing homes for people who otherwise could never own a home. The kits come with a full forty-five page plan set which includes a complete bill of materials required to complete the home. The plans also include drawings for either slab, pier, crawl or full foundation. Longer, and wider, one or two story kits are available on request. All plans are professionally drawn by a CAD building expert.

All kits sold in the USA are made in the USA.

A to Z Global To Build Low Voltage Power Supplies by Walt Barrett

We have been experimenting for many years now with various ways to produce virtually free electricity. So far we have mostly produced low voltage, low amperage devices that do actually produce power. Now, with the advent of low voltage lighting, communication devices, video and still cameras, and instrumentation devices, we have decided to produce a more finished and salable product line that will easily power these products. The above will be accomplished by several methods that we have developed. This technology will be particularly helpful in the third world where people cannot afford to even purchase batteries. The technology is far less expensive than manufacturing solar cells which only work in sunlight. We are now moving towards charging small electric vehicles, and running home water pumps with a larger scale unit. Our company also has successfully produced chemicals for over 25 years to tune up and recondition sulfated lead acid batteries. It is now being sold world wide under the names Battery Chem, and China Depot Products. www.batterychem.us

We are also the largest seller of Terra Cyclone tractors in the world. For more information you may contact company President Walter H. Barrett email to: wbarrett1@aol.com

Manufacturing Composting Toilets, Solar Power Systems, and Battery Recycling Chemicals by Walt Barrett

We have been very busy with orders for our Composting Toilets $195.00 and Solar Power systems $999.00, and battery recycling chemicals $2.99 plus postage. We have developed a urine separator for our composting toilet which is major step in controlling odors generated by mixing the two together, and also the urine can build up rapidly in a small composter and cause problems. The urine separator is a major strep forward for us. We are located in Rhode Island and are shipping our Composting Toilets and Solar Power systems as far away as Seattle, Washington. We have also gone global with our Battery Recycling Chemicals and are enjoying very strong sales of our complete business packages including all tools, equipment and chemicals for only $999.00. Our Battery Recycling Kits start at only $2.99 plus postage to do two 12 volt automobile size batteries. Please write to wbarrett1@aol.com for a free training manual and free video link.
Living off the power grid is finally becoming very popular, and I would encourage all of my friends to consider getting into some form of green related business ASAP. If you need a good supplier you might consider our company. We are known for our low prices and very strong customer service. Our EBay store (china-depot-100) has a 100% customer feedback rating.
Thanks,
Walt

Bamboo Groves and Rocket Stoves

Hey, it Rhymes, Bamboo Groves and Rocket Stoves.
You know, one of my jobs is being a mad scientist, so I'm always experimenting with new ideas and trying things. So several years ago I planted a small grove of Bamboo trees that seem to grow quite easily in our cold climate. As a matter of fact, they spread like wildfire! I keep trimming them for tomato stakes and fishing poles for the kids and other stuff like that. Once you dry Bamboo out, it is Strong like iron. As a matter of fact, it's more like carbon fiber than iron.
Well anyway, I got this idea to try dry Bamboo as fuel for my rocket stove. If you don't know what a rocket stove is I'm adding some photos. You know what they say about one picture! Now you can make a rocket stove out of just about anything that will not burn. I literally threw mine together for this experiment in abut ten minutes. Then I stacked some of the dry bamboo in the bottom chamber and lit it. Now I know why they call it a "Rocket Stove!"
My point in this whole exercise is that Bamboo is an excellent renewable fuel because it is really a grass and it grows like hell! Now that's what I call renewable. Besides, it has hundreds of uses. Just Google Bamboo and you will see what I mean. Also google "Rocket Stove" if you haven't already. I'm going to try a Rocket Stove in my micro home. I'll have to build it so it is safe to use indoors so that's a WIGTI project.
I seem to be running out of time these days. Perhaps one of you will pick up on this project. I'm going to add some photos. Also, consider planting Bamboo groves for the future if you can afford the space. Trees are always great anyway. It's a win - win situation.
Thanks,
Walt

A New Solar And Green Living Discussion Group by Walt Barrett

We have started a very successful "Solar Living" and "Green Living" discussion group at: http://solarmicrohomes.ning.com/ The group is growing at nearly one new member per hour. We are discussing DIY and all things solar. We invite you to join and participate with both questions and ideas about solar. Several people have already complained about the high cost of solar equipment so I am discussing DIY systems. You may start your own discussion about solar there if you wish.
Although I have recently formed www.hurrassolaramerica.com, I will not be discussing it on the discussion site, and we do not want anyone selling on the site. Also, we have no affiliation whatsoever with the companies advertising in the margins of the discussion pages. The advertising is the price we pay for the free server space. There is no need to pay for solar heating plans as the Internet is loaded with free information. Also, I taught solar classes for many years in the local colleges, and tech schools, and will do my best to answer all questions.
Please consider joining this new site. http://solarmicrohomes.ning.com/
Thanks,
Walt

Micro Home Progress - Site Preperation by Walt Barrett

We will continue to publish reports on the construction of our new Micro Home model. It is all solar and totally off the power grid.
Yesterday I personally took time out from the office to clear the space and stake off the area so the grade can be set and the foundation blocks can be set in place. I will personally build the unit with the assistance of My son John Barrett who is now the CEO of www.chinadepot.com , leaving me the time to develop new projects such as our Micro Home program.
I have included photos of the Micro Home lot and the views from the lot.
When the home is completed it will be open for inspection to the public by appointment, and we will be taking orders for completed units built on the new assembly line we are planning if the home is accepted by the buying public.
The model home is 8' long and 8' wide. We can offer many sizes including the 8' X 8' cube off grid economy model. Stay with us for weekly postings including photos.
Yes, it overlooks a lake!
Thanks,
Walt

Solar and wind power to irrigate the deserts by Walt Barrett

I have had this idea for forty years, and now I think its time has come in the light of the recent reports of food shortages worldwide. It remains to be seen if these shortages of crops are real or contrived, but either way it makes sense to me to irrigate the deserts near the oceans with solar power rather than cut down more forests and add to the growing carbon dioxide problem. Recent developments in the reverse osmosis membrane technology have nearly doubled the efficiency of these desalinization units. The same can be done with inland deserts that have a shallow water table of very briny unusable water.
The other side of the problem is what to do with the left over brine, but with the deserts as vast as they are it will be a simple matter to pump the brine into evaporation ponds on land that is now being wasted anyway. When the brine dries out it can be sold commercially.
Now, this sounds like a business opportunity to me – think about it!

From Oil Lamps to the Internet, or About turning 75 by Walt Barrett

Part one.
I want to give you a little background of why I think the way I think. I always say that if you want to see the future all you have to do is look back. I’m sure that my views will not win me many friends in those circles that swirl around up there in the rarified atmosphere of the wealthy.
I was born in hard times. It was 1933 when we were pretty deep into the great depression. My first memories go back to some time in 1936, and they are vague for that year. But since 1937 I remember a great deal from then on. My parents had bought a piece of property in the country on a lake with future plans for a home they could own. They had paid fifty dollars for the land. By 1932 they had the basic shell of what I would now call a micro home constructed and it was 480 square feet with a loft that you could barely stand up in. There was a front and rear door with one window on each outside wall. Yes, I grew up in a micro home! Right about then my Dad lost his Job in the textile mill just like everyone else around here did. That’s when they had to give up their nice little apartment in the city and moved into the partially finished home in the country. There was no power, electricity, water, heat, or sewer. I lived there with them until I left for the Korean war at age 18. Now those were interesting times, and I’m sure at this point that you can see where I am going with this.
My Dad and most of his World War One buddies blamed the whole mess on the Republican President Herbert Hoover, and big business. They immediately became life long democrats. Franklin Roosevelt became the new messiah and ushered in a whole new era for better or for worse. One of the differences between then and now was that there was plenty of fuel to heat your home and plenty of gasoline and electricity too. The problem was that we could not afford any of it.
Now you might think that I would be really bitter about my past, and sometimes I get a twinge or two, but it’s mostly sadness when I think of how hard my parents worked, the sacrifices they made for me, and the many times they suffered during those hard times. Then there is my guilt for not really being old enough to be of any real help to them. I did manage to start working in a mill in 1947 though and give them all the money I made. I did learn a lot about life in those days, and how to scrape by with literally nothing.

One of the saddest things that happened to my parents during the depression was at the death of my grandmother Barrett in 1929, my Dad's older brother Arthur, A real bum if there ever was one, Collected what little insurance money there was, and took off for Staten island, New York, and started a new life for himself and his soon to be new family, leaving my Parents to pay for all the hospital bills, the funeral, and her debts. It took them until 1950 to pay them off. My parents would have rather died than leave a bill unpaid. It really altered all of our lives.
Now at this time in early 2008 things are only just a little different. We are running out of fuel and the prices are going out of site! We are in another big mess that we are going to really have to fight our way out of. We are not dirt poor like we used to be,but the numbers of poor are growing rapidly. The problems facing us now are a mighty big challenge, and ignoring them like congress has for the past thirty-five years is not going to make them go away, but let’s continue on with a little more background. In 1950 while still in high school I became obsessed with solar energy. Not many people were interested in Solar at that time, but there was a scientist in Israel that was doing a lot of work in the field. I had spent most of my time up until then freezing to death in the cold winters of New England because our home never had central heat. So I started to read everything I could get my hands on at the time. I never lost interest and have continued to learn as much as I can on the subject. In 1973 I started a very successful solar heating and hot water system manufacturing operation, and we did quite well for several years until that great American President Ronald Regan tore down the solar system from the White House, gutted the funding for the solar programs and destroyed the solar industry. The really sad part of the problem is that those sorry bastards in congress went along for the ride! They have had thirty-five years to solve the energy problem and have barely lifted a finger while many of us have been screaming from the peanut gallery! For thirty-five years they have pandered to Big Oil,Big Coal,Big Gas,and Big Nuke. They literally sold us out! I’m not making this up. All you have to do is look back at the facts and the record! Oh well, like the trite old saying goes, "It’s too late to cry over spilt milk." Next time I’ll express my ideas on how we survive this mess our government created with the help of our own wasteful practices. We have to wrap our heads around these problems now! You can't depend on the government to solve your problems. You have to solve them yourself. That's what made this country great!
To be continued

BIG SAVINGS ON OUR ELECTRIC BILLS by WALT BARRETT

Can you imagine saving up to $41.00 a year just by changing a single light bulb? Well believe me, it’s entirely possible. We have five flood lamps on a dimmer switch in our new home, and they were chewing up some serious electricity. We have been switch out the old style light bulbs and this weekend it was the kitchen’s turn. We had to make a trip to the Home Depot anyway because we needed the waterproof wire, the wire connectors, and the marine sealer for our solar water pump installation movie we are about to shoot and post on the Internet. While we were in the electrical department we also picked up six the new energy saving kitchen flood lamps. They are packed two to a package and a bargain at $9.95 a twin pack. Each lamp only requires 14 Watts of input power to output 65 Watts of nice soft white light. Each lamp will save you $41.00 a year on your electric bill, and to further the bargain they will last 4 times longer than a standard lamp! This is a huge savings of not only money, but of electricity and carbon emissions. As far as I’m concerned they can stop making the old fashioned light bulbs today. Now, even if you have so much money that it’s falling out of your pockets, and you could care less about your electric bill, you should still do the responsible thing and switch over to the new lams just to cut sown on the national energy use and carbon foot print, even if you think that the whole global warming thing is junk science. Switching over to energy saving lams is the cheapest insurance policy on the future that you could ever buy, and you save a lot of money in the bargain. Let’s say that you save $500.00 in one year, look at the gasoline or fuel oil that will buy!
I think it’s time we got a lot more serious about saving energy!
